Black and white with … Read more Abraham Rattner (1893-1978) signed and numbered limited edition abstract print of a man and his dog. Black and white with grey matting and black lacquered wood frame. Rattner, who lived in Paris from 1920-1940, knew and studied the works of Claude Monet although he is known for his surrealist pieces that more closely follow the works of Picasso and George Rouault. His artwork is in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York; Art Institute of Chicago; Baltimore Museum of Art; Detroit Institute of Arts; Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Montgomery, Alabama; Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia Museum of Art; Phillips Collection, Washington, D.C.; Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford, Connecticut; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York City; Samuel P.
