- This is a beautiful table lamp from the 1950s era. It has a long (working) cord. It does indeed work … more This is a beautiful table lamp from the 1950s era. It has a long (working) cord. It does indeed work as it should. It is a very rare example of the mid-century modern. movement, most likely because the shades are delicate. The base is a stunning pink marble and the only fault to be found are the gold colored base, where the on/off switch is, under the marble base has a bit of rust. the bottom base is 6.5 inches by 3.5 inches. the lamp is 31 inches tall and 12 inches long, and 6 inches in width. It is a remembrance of the Atomic era. less
