This tall pillar candlestick has a tripod base with lion's … more Vintage brass altar candle holder from France, early twentieth century. This tall pillar candlestick has a tripod base with lion's feet and embossed images of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph with stippled backgrounds. Above that is a tall fluted column and a spike on top to hold the candle in place. It's in very good condition, with some oxidation and an aged patina.
