The structure of this classic chest of drawers is a paneled frame that separates the drawers from each other with dust boards.

The drawers are assembled entirely with handmade dovetails. On the front of these the dovetail is hidden behind the edge molding. Circular escutcheons embellish the iron locks with rectangular tongues from the 19th century. It has an original hollow iron tube type key.

As a curiosity, the lock of the fourth drawer has the tongue at the bottom, so that when it is closed, it also locks the last drawer, which has a gusset, but no lock.

In the front corners there are two turned Solomonic style pilasters that provide a touch of distinction and character. less
