Description: Sculptural and elegant, this avocado-green and white porcelain vase by noted artist Beate Kuhn exemplifies mid-century European free-form ceramic art. … more Sculptural and elegant, this avocado-green and white porcelain vase by noted artist Beate Kuhn exemplifies mid-century European free-form ceramic art. It was designed by Kuhn and produced by Rosenthal in the 1950s and displays a modernist shape with two necks of different heights and teardrop-shaped openings.. Fluid swathes of avocado and white color add to the sculptural look.

The vase has a glossy glaze, with a white interior. Condition is excellent vintage, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The base displays the Rosenthal Kunstabteilung Selb mark, with the incised "Kuhn" mark near the base rim (difficult to photograph, but it's there!).

The vase measures 8.25" at its tallest neck; 7" at the lower one. 5.5" W x 3" D. less
