Primary … more Beautiful antique primitive Piedmont seven drawer tall chest dating to circa 1790. Two small drawers above five graduating drawers. Primary wood appears to be walnut or possibly mahogany. Secondary wood is pine. Handcut dovetail construction with hand chamfered drawer bottoms and peg construction on drawer bottoms and back. Two wide pine ship-lapped boards for the back. Two board construction on either side with some separation from age. Drawer pulls appear to have been replaced at some point. Functioning drawer locks. Some minor chipping/scuffing but very good condition for its age. less
