Description: The urn was made in China but the style is decidedly Japanese. The background is comprised of dark blues. The … more The urn was made in China but the style is decidedly Japanese. The background is comprised of dark blues. The two Geisha scenes feature multi-colored subjects against a backdrop of light yellows and greens. Orange flowers and goldfish adorn the rim and interior. There is a modest - but appropriate - amount of shiny gold trim that sets everything off just right. A standalone statement piece that goes anywhere with anything.

The urn is 16” OD at the top, 12 1/4” ID inside the rim, with an internal depth of 12” and an external height of 13”. The urn weighs about 26 lbs. The perfectly fitting stand is also solid and substantial - dark brown color, matte finish, distressed…very appropriate. Together, the urn/stand measure 16” at the widest point with a height of 23 1/4”.
