Outstanding, unusual and unique large 1940s table top backgammon set in a marbleized mica case with a hand tooled leather and suede interior. Fantastic vintage bakelite discmen in divine butterscotch and marbled chocolate brown swirl. Vintage dice and double die all original. One of the most unusual vintage sets I've seen. There is gentle wear on the discs consistent with playing use. The leather and suede are in amazing condition. When closed, the exterior mica covering has one 8mm ding as pictured. Of course, this can be on the bottom.
