Beautiful aqua blue background, rich mustard yellow shawl, and dark pink dress with thickly textured brushstrokes. Matted with linen and framed in a bronze colored metal. Purchased circa 2014 from the Carmel Art Association. Listing measurements include frame. Painting measures 15” x 11.5”.

Di Gesu studied art at the Chouinard and Jepson Art Institutes in Los Angeles and the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris, the Escuela de Belles Artes de San Jorge in Barcelona and schools in Italy. His teachers included Andre L'Hote, Yves Brayer, Jean Aujame and Carlo Socrate.
