There are a couple of small instances of chipped veneer and the inside curve of one of the scrolled arms is missing it's tip (see detailed photos). Upholstery is in good condition with no rips, tears or stains. While we can't pinpoint their exact age, the construction suggests that they probably date to the early 20th century, likely @ 1920's. The chairs are substantial in both weight and roominess, with a generous seat and tall back. Arms curve out from the back of the chair and then curve down into a graceful scroll at the front. The chairs are very comfortable, and the upholstery appears to be original. The color is somewhere between a midnight blue and a deep charcoal grey - please see photos which were taken in natural light. less
