Created in China during the Qing Dynasty, this Chinese cabinet features a linear silhouette accented by a lacquered finish.

The upper section showcases four doors adorned with geometrical fretwork motifs, while the lower section is made of two rows of sliding doors. Presenting three drawers in the central part fitted with butterfly hardware, the bottom open fretwork is where the ‘chickens’ would have been tossed, before a meal, and the cabinet is raised on four straight legs.
