A 1984 abstract mixed media painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Composed of acrylic, graphite, watercolor, and colored pencil on paper, this abstract work features distinct geometric and biomorphic shapes and lines illustrated in predominately yellow, gray, and pink shades. Signed “Hilson ‘84” to the lower right, the painting is displayed in a gray wooden frame and white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen. less
