Original period antique print of pastel watercolor portrait of Rudyard Kipling by Mortimer Menpes. Original title page. Printed in London, 1901 by Mortimer Menpes. This original period antique print, like all other prints after paintings of Mortimer Menpes created by Menpes himself. Excellent condition - never framed.
Mortimer Luddington Menpes (1855-1938), was an Australian-born artist, author, printmaker and illustrator, interior designer, member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and Royal Institute of Oil Painter.
