The beautiful wooden black lacquered frame supports the upholstered sheepskin body. The round edges of the body create a nice balance with the spear legs. The slightly bent backrest and seat form a shell that provides ultimate comfort. The combination of the Scandinavian influence with the Dutch Design execution is exceptional. The quality therefore ensures timelessness, while the beautiful sheepskin upholstery guarantees exquisite soft comfort. In good vintage condition. After training at Maastricht's School of Applied Arts and joining Wagemans and Van Tuinen in 1936, he became Artifort's first permanent designer. Spearheading its design evolution. Initially focusing on traditional living-room furniture, Ruth's early work laid the foundation for the brand's enduring design heritage. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
