These Moroccan ceramics represent a distinctive synthesis of various cultural heritages. They are defined by complex designs made using traditional inherited techniques and geometric skills that have been passed down from generation to generation.
These pieces are traditionally made from red clay which, in its solid form, contains minerals and weathered rocks. The rocks are first collected and broken down to create powdered clay.
Through skilled artisan hands, the clay is molded to perfection. Vessels made with a clay with very special characteristics that give them extraordinary solidity so very large pieces can be made.
The pieces are not glazed (raw ceramic) and are very heavy because the thickness of the earth is important (hence the solidity and resistance to frost). They have metallic decorative cord, embossed, and very well proportioned, they give the most beautiful effect. with the passage of time it gives it its inimitable patina.
Set of 4 pieces consisting of 2 large plates or plates and 2 jars of olives.
