The lamp base is made from ceramic pottery and has a crackle glaze finish. It is white and shaped like a tulip flower at the top and has a curvy urn shape below. It sits on a black painted wood base. The lamp is topped with a flaxen, off-white linen shade with a black ribbon detail trim. Works great!
