19th c. and later adapted, a pair of candlestick table lamps with gilt carved wood caryatid on a later oval … more 19th c. and later adapted, a pair of candlestick table lamps with gilt carved wood caryatid on a later oval base with four ball feet. The lamps each have a chocolate brown oval enamel tole shade, are wired with four candelabra sockets and with an acorn shaped brass finial.

This is a striking and unusual pair of table lamps. The carved detail on the caryatids is lovely with subtle differences between the pair.

Dimensions:
27"h x 14"l x 10"w

Condition:
Good, consistent with age and use. There is an old patina to the wood with a somewhat dirty surface, rubbing and scratches to gilding. The enamel shades are generally clean. Likely would need to be rewired.
