19th c., France, a pair of Louis XVI Style candelabra lamps with patinated and gilt bronze. Each lamp with a seated putto carrying a torch issuing a scrolled foliate 6-arm candelabra all mounted on white marble column base, with ormolu floral swags, drilled as a lamp. Each lamp with a square tapered lampshade in black silk with a gold braid detail at top, held with a brass finial.
While the paint is flaking off the putti bodies, this lamp remains very attractive, characterful and ornate.
Note: To keep shipping costs as low as possible for the buyer, the seller will have these lamps professionally packed to allow for parcel shipping.
