Description: Crafted in France circa 1850 and built of mahogany, the elegant antique cabinet stands on front rounded columns ending with … more Crafted in France circa 1850 and built of mahogany, the elegant antique cabinet stands on front rounded columns ending with bun feet and embellished with decorative bronze mounted rings at the shoulder and the base. The small chest features three drawers across the front dressed with brass knobs and escutcheon, over an open niche embellished with bottom shelving. The top is dressed with the original variegated black marble surface. The petite bedside table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich walnut patina; versatile, it could also be used as an occasional side table or nightstand. Small professional marble restoration in one back corner (see picture).
