- An elegant antique French ice bucket created by the luxury silversmith company Christofle in their finest quality silver plate. The … more An elegant antique French ice bucket created by the luxury silversmith company Christofle in their finest quality silver plate. The champagne and wine chiller features a classic design with two side ring handles and has been hand engraved on the front with the monogram initials D G. The ice bucket is from the "Cercles en Relief" collection which was later remodeled and renamed in the 1950s to the "Biarritz" pattern. This piece is an original from the early 1900s and can be distinguished by its thick walls and heavy weight. It has been stamped on the underside with the Christofle silver plate maker's marks and features the individual identifying number 2,468,816 which dates the bucket to a manufacturing period of between July 1913 to September 1916. less
