Set includes a mixed collection, accumulated over time, of (9) "Prague" 811 bentwood + cane armchairs and side chairs, designed … more Set includes a mixed collection, accumulated over time, of (9) "Prague" 811 bentwood + cane armchairs and side chairs, designed by architects Josef Hoffmann and Josef Frank in the mid/late 1920s and produced in the mid-20th C. in Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia (per stamps and stickers that remain to frames).

Iconic Bauhaus design with unique profile, some stamped "Made in Poland" to underside of frames, along with remnant "FMG" tags; manufactured by FMG in Poland, a former (after World War II nationalized) Thonet factory.

Great original condition on 5 chairs in the collection; 4 chairs show stressed/broken cane to the seats.

All chairs are handmade; general dimensions are:

Armchairs:
20.25ʺW × 27.5ʺD × 31.5ʺH with 21.5"H arms and 18"H seats

Side Chairs:
17ʺW × 20.5ʺD × 32.13ʺH with 18.13"H seats

Four seats will require re-caning. Photos of each seat included. Frames in generally good condition with structural stability and natural age patina and wear. less
