- Pair of solid brass chairs made by Chiavari. They were designed and made in Italy in the 1950s and were … more Pair of solid brass chairs made by Chiavari. They were designed and made in Italy in the 1950s and were assembled by hand after being made with modern technology. The brass has been professionally polished and the chairs have new cushioning with off white colored woven fabric. One chair has one slight stain on the corner of the seat but nothing detracts from the beauty of these chairs. There is some natural wear to the brass but they shine and have a long lifetime ahead of them. They’re solid, sturdy and have weight to them being solid brass. less
