The PERMUTATIONS Collection is a tale about contrasts that unite rather than divide.It is my attempt to capture in form and to translate different stories about human relationships into the language of Ceramic Media:

Zlatka Paneva is a multi-disciplinary artist who holds an MFA in fine art and ceramics (National Academy of Fine Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria) where she is from and practiced. She won prizes all over Europe in the 1980s and studied under Carlo Zauli (Faenza, Italy). After moving to Los Angeles in 90s, she pivoted her practice (previously public art) to handmade ceramic tiles. She founded Studio 9 and sold her tiles through Country Floors, Waterworks and Ann Sacks (Kohler company) for over a decade. After that, she departed from ceramics for several years while working in other media and beginning in 2022 revisited her beloved art form with a new perspective shown now. less
