This reproduction slant front writing desk has all the outstanding qualities of an antique original. Made of solids wood and veneers the bookcase has a lovely hand carved swan neck, arched pediment. There are two wooden shelves in the upper section of the bookcase. The desk section has four graduated drawers resting over top of shaped, ogee bracket feet. The interior of the desk is fitted with a bank of serpentine shaped 4 drawers each of which is dovetailed and custom fit for it’s compartment. The It is in very good vintage condition,it has claws feet but three of them miss the lateral outside part , you have to look for it to see it. It did not effect the charm of the desk
