It has a very soft and shiny wool pile that looks almost silk like. Additionally the rug has very deep blues and reds; the colors are so deep that it is hard to capture the true essence of this rug's colors in pictures. The rug also displays the classic Indo-Kashan large medallion, so large the rug seems to have more of an all over design.
