Introducing the exceptional industrial desk lamp designed by Christian Dell, the iconic Model 2768 Matador Bur produced by the esteemed Bauhaus in the 1930s. This lamp stands as a vibrant symbol of the Bauhaus movement, embodying its principles of innovative design and functional beauty. Christian Dell, a renowned jeweler and designer from Germany, lived from 1893 to 1974 and was a dedicated advocate of the Bauhaus aesthetic. During his tenure at the Bauhaus design and art school in Weimar in the 1930s, Dell crafted a remarkable collection of functional and visually striking lamps, including this remarkable piece. In detailed condition, this vintage lamp remains fully functional, exhibiting signs of its age such as scuffs, faded finishes, and minimal defects, all of which contribute to its authentic character (please refer to the accompanying photos). The wiring has been thoughtfully replaced for safety, while the original switch adds to its historical allure. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
