Description: This listing is for a stunning complete antique Nippon dessert and tea set from the 1910’s, (21 pieces in total). … more This listing is for a stunning complete antique Nippon dessert and tea set from the 1910’s, (21 pieces in total). This set is hand painted in light green tones with gold gilded accent and pink roses. Delicate porcelain, translucent when held to the light, it is marked “ Hand painted Nippon”. This mark was used before the company became Noritake. Very early mark, from the 1910’s. The set includes 4 medium dessert plates, 4 small cake plates, 4 saucers and cups, 1 tea pot and lid, 1 creamer and 1 sugar bowl with lid. It is rare to find a complete intact set.  

SIZE: The medium plates are 7.5” in diameter, the smaller ones are 6.5” in diameter and the saucers are 5.5” in diameter. The tea cups are 2.25” high and 3.5” in diameter. The creamer is 2.75” high and 4.5” wide. The sugar bowl is 4.25” high including finial and 6” from handle to handle. The tea pot is 5” high with finial and 8” across from spout to handle.
