Boris Kramer believes that art should communicate visually in order to create a dialogue between artist and viewer. Art needs to interpret, understand, influence, and change culture. Kramer focuses on visually describing the essence of primary relationships, whether between lovers, family members, or co-workers, in order to bring strength to those bonds. For Kramer, art must touch not just the mind but the heart also.
Boris Kramer was born in Hamilton, Ontario. His father, Richard Kramer, was a renowned artist and a blacksmith. After Boris completed his graduate studies in fine art and post-graduate degree in Renaissance/Reformation history and philosophy, he committed his future to art. less
