This is a very beautiful Tiffin Glass sterling silver overlay vase. The black satin glass, of which this piece is an excellent example, was made from 1923 - 1926 and are the best know products of the Tiffin Glass Co. The Tiffin Glass Company was a subsidiary of the United States Glass Co. in 1892. Tiffin subsequently merged with and acquired other glass makers produced glassware until 1980.

Condition:

Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is some loss of the silver overlay, on the end of one of the leaves (see photo). There is one small visible dent in the silver on the rim. Fine scratches are noticeable upon close inspection under certain lighting conditions. Normal wear consistent with age and use. Please see all photos. less
