From a huge carnival glass collector's estate in Ohio, this set has shimmering dynamic colors of purples, golds and lots of blues as you can see in the photos.

Set includes a water pitcher with a scalloped sawtooth rim, and eight tumblers with slightly flared rims. Northwood's iconic Grape & Cable pattern features grape leaves and large clusters of grapes which "hang" from a cable at the top of the piece. Black Amethyst base glass with gold/multicolor iridescence.

Timeframe: 1910 - early 1920s.

Marks: N circle marks on all pieces.

Condition:

Good antique condition, although there are a few fleabites on flared ribbing on the base of the pitcher. Otherwise, no other chips or damage. The iridescent finish does have some fine scratches and wear throughout. There are "straw marks" from the manufacturing process on the interior and base of the pitcher and on a couple of the cups. less
