This is a pair of exquisite yellow-amber hand cast curved Murano glass backed with "frit" to create an ice glass effect called graniglia. The form is much in the style of Kaiser Leuchten. Each sconce has gilt quatrefoil details. Original gallery stickers which read "Gallery Vetri d'Arte" are on the upper corners.
A stunning statement piece of Italian art!
Note: They were purchased at an estate already detached from the wall and have not been tested.

Condition:
Both sconces are in good vintage condition. The glass components of both sconces appear to be free of any scratches, cracks, chips, or fractures. Note: there are some noticeable scratches to the brass medallion detailing. One has more prominent scratches than the other. They can likely be touched up or unscrewed and replaced. On the back side, there is some white paint or plaster present on the wall plate hardware of each sconce. Currently, blue painter's tape holds the mounting screws. All wires and lightbulb connections appear to be undamaged, although they are untested.
