Pilastro wall system with desk (with drawer) designed by tjerk reijenga for c.v. Reijenga’s apparatenbouw, amsterdam in 1957. Beautiful in its simplicity, this wall unit was advertised as a piece of furniture with 1001 possibilities and could be divided or extended according to your own choice. This wall unit is from the early 1960s and consists of a cupboard with two sliding doors h x w x d = 38 x 97 x 30 cm, a desk with drawer b x d = 73 x 46 cm, a perforated basket h x w x d = 7 x 96 x 15 cm, a light box (with two e27 fittings and a push switch) dimensions: h x w x d = 8.5 x 73 x 12 cm, a wider light box (with two e27 fittings and a pressure switch) dimensions: h x w x d = 8.5 x 97 x 12 cm, five shelves measuring 97.5 x 20 cm, a reading shelf measuring 21 x 73 x 29 cm and various fixing and wall brackets.
