This is a stunning example of Bing and Grondahl (Royal Copenhagen) craftsmanship. This beautifully made figurine features a white whippet/greyhound seated with outstretched front paws, curled tail and alert expression. The details on this piece perfectly capture this elegant, powerful and intelligent breed.

Measurements: Length 11½”, Height 4½”, Width 3ʺ

Condition: This piece is in excellent (nearly pristine!) vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or damage, and only minimal signs of use wear on the underside. The delicate paws, tips of the ears, and tip of the tail are in perfect condition, and the glaze is bright and shiny. The underside is marked with the mid-century “B&G Kjobenhavn Danmark / Made in Denmark” mark in use from 1958-1962. less
