The … more Here is an incredible postmodern piece from the 1980-early 90's featuring a curved modern shaped headboard and coordinating nightstands. The piece was made in Italy and is marked on the back of the nightstands. They are made from black laminate and Italian walnut or rosewood with a heavy lacquer, high gloss finish. I love that the headboard is made to accommodate all sizes of bed frames. There are many holes on the bottom for the frame and then you move in the nightstands accordingly. Of course, the size of the headboard makes it best suited to Queen, King and California King. You could use the headboard with or without the nightstands, but they fit perfectly and "tuck" under the shape of the back detail. The nightstands each have two drawers with wonderfully modern, geometric black pulls. The original, single owner was an experienced collector and lover of Modern 70's Italian design.
