The "bones" are fantastic; however, the “Samarkand” velvet colors have faded in the California sun. It's a crime that the fabric is so worn, but it is a very comfortable chair, so it was lovingly used.

It is primarily made with a curved piece, probably bentwood, that goes from arm to arm with a separate back, a clever design, see photo #6.

Four pillows are included: two that go by the arms, one for the seat, and one for the back.

There are no ID markings that I could find but it was bought from the Gabbert’s store in Bloomington Minnesota in the late 1960s. Edward Wormley for Dunbar used this velvet fabric in many different colorways, so maybe there is a connection. less
