Antique pair of French figured wall sconces in blackened and polished bronze, each with three candle holders with French wiring for lighting. Cherub figures with outstretched wings, holding one lantern above their heads, as a wall template. The remaining two lanterns rest on a foliage stand from which emerge two swan-necked candlesticks. Bronze wall sconces partly polished, partly blackened.
Note: similar wall sconces in the music room of the Residence in Munich, furnished for King Max I Joseph, were made in Paris by Claude Gallet (1759–1815).
