A beautiful 'Crown Trifari' yellow gold-plated rope chain and pendant necklace, by fashion costume jewelry company, Trifari, Bohemian chic, circa 1960s, USA. Beautiful design and craftsmanship, wear this vintage collectable piece with a dress (as demonstrated), layer with other necklaces (demonstrated), and wear all year-round, with summer dresses or winter sweaters, etc. Excellent condition as shown in images. Trifari, a prominent name in vintage fashion jewelry, was founded in 1910 by namesake, Gustavo Trifari, an Italian immigrant with a background in goldsmithing. Trifari's evolution was marked by collaborations with many esteemed designers, most notably Alfred Philippe (previously with Van Cleef & Arpels), who joined the company in 1930. Philippe's creative vision significantly shaped Trifari's signature style, characterized by intricate designs, impeccable craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. His tenure as the brand's creative mind lasted until 1968 when Trifari solidified its reputation as a leader in fashion jewelry.
