Calcantite is a mineral composed of hydrated copper sulfate.

It occurs in prismatic crystals or stalactites, has a color ranging from turquoise blue to deep blue to green with a transparent opacity.

It is a hydrophobic mineral and in contact with air it oxidizes and becomes covered with a light white/green patina.

These two specimens are one block and have large crystals in various shades of blue.

Rare in size, weighing about 10 kg each, they are an example of natural sculpture.

Their extraordinary beauty makes them perfect for placing as centerpieces or on the sides of in dressers.
