This listing is for a set of 8 hand painted Ambrosius Lamm dinner plates with incredible courting scenes, each one more stunning than the other. Cobalt blue border, with stunning gold stencil highlights. Each plate is marked with the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden mark, used between 1887 and around 1915. Ambriosius Lamm opened his porcelain decorating business in 1887 and he is renowned as one of the most important porcelain painters of his time. His works are among the most sought after to this day! Each plate is a real work of art!
