Unlevel natural … more Two beautiful organically shaped cracked glasses, with a spiral of aventurine to coordinate the finish in a grid. Unlevel natural surface. Deep iridescence. These are two oval vases, made with a cracked (ice) finish but lined with aventurine so that the cracks form a sort of grid. The deep iridescence causes the tall vase to take on an almost blue reflection, while the smaller one has a pinkish hue. The mouth is "natural split", the punch break is leveled and hand polished so it appears wavy. A special touch on an organically shaped vase. Made in the mid-80s, it is the result of a study on iridescence and naturally shaped pieces. They should be sold in pairs. Reading of the base and other identifications, references: a vase bears the old label "made in Murano". No signature on the base. The quality of production, the type of glass and the material used identify the manufacturer as Sergio Rossi. Measurements: Height 38 cm, approximately 15 inches, for the tallest vase; 27 cm, 11 inches, for the lowest pot. less
