The pendant was working when it was removed from service in the 1990s. The primary materials are brass and iron.

The fixture has a diameter of 17 inches and a height of 18 inches. It has an ornate, Gothic, or medieval design with elaborate, decorative metal details. The viewer will note the intricate patterns and flourishes, which suggest it might be from the late 19th or early 20th century.

The paper sockets were designed to resemble melting wax candles. The base is probably an E12 candelabra, which holds an E12 bulb. The ceiling canopy has a height of 8 inches and a diameter of 5.5 inches. There is a short length of chain measuring 4 inches.

The center stem inside the chandelier appears to be made of Bakelite. The fixture has some rust, and the wiring must be replaced for functionality.
