This is a large, heavy (17.4 pounds), well built piece of vintage government office equipment in very good overall physical and mechanical condition. Aside from a couple of small spots on the base, and a tiny area of corrosion on the hood, all is in very good shape with only some light scratches from normal use to be found. One of the spots on the base is a small area lacking paint. The rest of the finish is fine. The arm moves properly, and the switch turns on both of the (included) bulbs as it should. The felt on the base is not perfect, but does the job, and is invisible when the lamp is in use. The power cord and plug are also in very good condition.
