On the Design:
“Rez Kilim” represents a contemporary homage to Turkish and Persian panel-weaving styles in a textural approach to minimalist rugs. This piece enjoys a play of cream white and blue tones, and similar accents in the weft and stitching between the panels (or columns). Admirers of the craft will appreciate the way the fundamentals of a traditional flatweaving style have been reimagined in an almost impressionistic look at geometry, ribbing, and the subtleties of a Kilim.
