The bottom candles are adjustable as well as the shade sliding on a central shaft. Beautiful detail like lyre brackets and palm finial.
US wired with 3 lights. Let us remember that bouillotte was a French card game similar to poker played on a bouillotte table.
It also gave rise to the Bouillotte lamp, consisting of one or several candlesticks with a central standard equipped with a non-flammable adjustable shade. often made of tôle, a painted or lacquered metal, reflective white on the inside, dark on the outside, that could be lowered as the candles burned down.
The base of lamp is 6.5" wide. The bottom shade is 14" wide. less
