Cast with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue), this exquisite urn features a classical décor that will enliven any space beautifully. This piece is the last one cast from the mold and depicts two slender cupids placed on each side of an urn, resting their chins one their hands. They seem to be admiring something inside the urn, or perhaps they are just lost in their thoughts. Their extended wings create a perfect sense of balance. Each cupid is sitting on an acanthus leaf and rests his feet on a ram's head. The upper section of the urn evokes a wicker basket, topped with a ribbon-tied lip. The belly is delicately accented with decorative motifs, while the gadrooned pedestal is raised on a square base.
