The turbot is a flatfish found in the Atlantic Ocean and this diamond-shaped poacher was designed to accommodate the shape of the fish, hence the name turbotiere. This beautiful copper pan has a lovely aged patina from years of kitchen use. There are 2 large looping handles that are affixed by brass mounts with three rivets. This would be a fantastic addition to any kitchen of today. less
