Born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, Anne Jenkins first attended Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and subsequently graduated from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. Moore College of Art & Design was founded in 1848 by Sarah Worthington Peter as the Philadelphia School of Design for Women and remains the first and only historically visual arts college for women in the nation. less
