Beautifully preserved nesting tables (x3) in solid oak with rosewood butterfly jointing signifying a high level of quality design, structural integrity and ultimately highly sought after collectible craftsmanship. All three tables use butterfly joints (also known as Bowtie joints, Figure of Eight Joints, Crabb Joints, Dutchman Joints and many more), turned legs, and simply elegant geometric designs. This table dates from the late victorian to early Edwardian periods, with design elements that land squarely in the overlap of the Edwardian/Arts & Crafts/Art Nouveau aesthetic.
Smallest table has a makers mark as shown.
