Highly collectible elegant H.E.Shaw Grand Spinet desk in beautiful original condition. This desk has been very well cared for, and shows only minor signs of use consistent with age. Features four small utility drawers, one very large very deep – solid mahogany main drawer, a pull out writing surface, and several handy cubbies for letters or phone chargers etc. All articulating hardware (hinges) are finished in nickel, with locking lid (sorry no key).
The design itself stands testament to functionality. The ample work surface, further extended by the pull-out writing/laptop platform, provides a comfortable and spacious environment for research and writing. The four well-proportioned drawers offer dedicated storage for writing implements and research materials, while the deep main drawer accommodates larger items like files, manuscripts, or rare books.
