The six back … more This New England chair has an arched carved and pierced crest rail featuring scrolls and acanthus leaves. The six back splats are flanked by column-turned stiles topped with urn finials. The down-curved, finger-molded arms end in carved scroll hand-grips, and the drop-in seat has its original woven rush center. The legs are baluster-and-block configurations connected by five stretchers, the front one in a vase-and-baluster style turning.

The condition is excellent with an aged patina with minor scruff marks.

This chair is handsome, sturdy and sound. It is an excellent, comfortable accent chair, and will make your guest feel grand.
